Close to the end of the Icelandic world, there is a campsite. For just 1000 ISK it can be your best bet in the area. There is a beautiful waterfall nearby. And if you cross the river (on foot or by car – but be careful and ask the locals for advice!!!) you can start exploring places visited by just a few people.
