Kerlingarfjöll

Kerlingarfjöll is a range of volcanic mountains often referred to as the Witch Mountains. The area offers various trails of different difficulties and lengths, where you can hike through mountains in vibrant yellow hues, among crystal-clear streams and omnipresent clouds of steam.

The journey here follows the inland road No. 35, from which you turn onto F347. Continue past the Gýgjarfoss waterfall towards the campsite, and then further along the mountain road until you reach the parking lot at Kerlingarfjöll.

In the area near the campsite, you will also find the geothermal pond Borholan í Kellingafjöllum.
