Nýjabæjarfjörur

A very beautiful white sand beach located on the northwest coast of the Reykjanes Peninsula, right under the old Garður lighthouse. It is one of those few Icelandic places where you can feel like you are in the Caribbean during the summer when the weather is nice. And yes, you can indeed see the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and the Snæfellsjökull Glacier from here.
