Kolufossar

The waterfalls in Kolugljúfur canyon, known as Kolufossar, offer a stunning display of the area’s beauty and diversity. When seeking a good view or photo opportunity, be cautious of where and how you step, as this location can be quite dangerous!

You can find the Kolufossar waterfalls in northwest Iceland, about 5 km off Route 1. Take Route 715 and continue on the local road named Hrappsstaðavegur. Cross the bridge, and you’ll arrive at the waterfalls.
