Hverahlíð (Vonarskarð)

Hverahlíð is a stunning geothermal area in the Icelandic interior. The only reason why there aren’t crowds of tourists everywhere here is that the area is difficult to access. However, if you make it here, you might have all that beauty to yourself. There are several geothermal springs and also one small but very intense geyser.
