Kemp Álfaskeið

Not very well equipped, you will only find a cabin with toilets, sinks, and water (and an inaccessible old camping hut), and that’s all. It is located a bit away from the main ‘gold-circuit’ civilization but is in a beautiful, peaceful environment where festivals used to take place in the local meadows. The campsite is currently neglected, but a recently built new cabin with facilities hopefully indicates that the campsite will start to do better.

This campsite is a bit hidden. From road no. 340, turn off at this location (GPS: 64.077288, -20.433514) onto a dirt road and continue for a few hundred meters until you reach the campsite.
