Hrísey Eyjafjörður

Hrísey is an island in the Eyjafjörður fjord and is the second largest island off the coast of Iceland, after Heimaey. It has about 120 residents and has been inhabited since the earliest days of settlement. It is connected to the mainland by the ferry Sævar from Árskógssandur.
