Gata free campsite

In Iceland, almost everything is expensive, but there are exceptions. One of them is a campsite on the southern coast, where the accommodation fee is voluntary. You can also buy excellent eggs directly for breakfast from the owners for 150 ISK each.

The Selvogur – Gata campsite is located on the southern coast of Iceland. From road no. 427 between Grindavík and Þorlákshöfn, turn off here (GPS: 63.835115, -21.667704) onto a local road. Continue for about 500 meters, and you will see the campsite directly in front of you.
