Veiðifoss is one of those peculiar Icelandic waterfalls. It is only about a meter high, yet it has a name. Then there are really hundreds of beautiful and tall waterfalls in Iceland (like the one in the Valagil gorge) that don’t have a name at all. Hmm, interesting. Snæfellsnes, West Iceland.

You can find the Veiðifoss waterfall near road number 54 on the northern coast of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It’s about a 5-minute walk upstream along the Bakká River from the road.
