Kaldalónsjökull is a glacier tongue of the Drangajökull glacier. You can reach it in about two hours on foot from the parking lot. Along the way, there are several streams that can be jumped over, unless it’s after rain, in which case wading might be necessary. The area around the glacier is quite unstable, with frequent falling rocks, so be cautious.
