This unnamed waterfall is located on the Vestdalsá River, just a few kilometers northeast of the harbor town of Seyðisfjörður.
There is a small viewing terrace built at the waterfall, but moving around the area is easy, and you can choose your own spot to view the waterfall. In addition to the waterfall, there are also very nice views of the Seyðisfjörður bay landscape from here.
The easiest way to reach the waterfall is by parking in the Háubakkar area and heading uphill. The path is about one kilometer long and takes approximately 25 minutes to complete.
If you want to extend your walk, you can continue from here to Lake Vestdalsvatn, which is located 5 kilometers upstream along the Vestdalsá River.
