Háhyrna (1535 m above sea level) is located in the Sprengisandur area and with its elongated ridge creates a natural and visually interesting boundary between the Tungnafellsjökull glacier and the surrounding landscape. The ascent has a vertical rise of about 750 meters and will take you a good 4 hours, with some places near the summit requiring increased caution.
