This waterfall on the Syðri-Ófæra river may not have a name, but it’s definitely worth a stop and exploration. You can find it just a few dozen meters from the ford on the F233 mountain road – Álftavatnskrókur, and it is quite interesting for two main reasons. The river is bridged here by a natural stone bridge, allowing you to enjoy the waterfall from unusual angles. Additionally, the river seems to disappear underground, only to resurface a few meters away. The ford in the river is not very deep, but there are large stones, making a large off-road vehicle an essential requirement here!
