This waterfall on the Syðri-Ófæra River may not have a name, but it is definitely worth at least a brief stop and exploration. You can find it just a few dozen meters from the ford on the mountain road F233 – Álftavatnskrókur, and it is quite interesting for two reasons. The river is bridged by a natural stone bridge, allowing you to enjoy the waterfall from unusual angles. Additionally, it seems as if the river disappears underground for a few meters and reemerges elsewhere. The ford in the river is not very deep, but there are large stones, and a large off-road vehicle is an essential necessity for crossing here!
