The campsite is located in a great spot near the town and popular attractions, making it a frequented place, especially in the evening and morning. Although the pitches for motorhomes can be uneven and muddy when it rains, the campsite offers excellent facilities. The kitchen is divided into two separate sections, each equipped with an oven, stove, sink with hot and cold water, kettle, and basic equipment such as pots, pans, cutting boards, and sometimes dishes, though plates, glasses, and cutlery are limited. At the back of the wooden building, there is a washing machine and dryer available.
The common areas are spacious, pleasantly heated, and have plenty of tables. One of the buildings even features an old piano. The showers and toilets are mainly communal, separated by gender, but often crowded between 5 PM and 11 PM. Inside the wooden cabin next to the main sanitary block, there is a more private toilet and two separate showers with beautifully painted walls, which are cozier than the main communal facilities. The hot water can sometimes unpleasantly smell of sulfur.
It is also good to prepare for the presence of small insects, especially black flies. Overall, it is a very well-equipped campsite with excellent facilities and a relaxed atmosphere.
