Reykjarfjarðarsundlaug is a geothermal pool in the Reykjarfjörður bay on the eastern coast of the Strandir region, directly below the Drangajökull ice cap, where besides the pool you will also find several houses and a campsite.

The water is at a perfectly optimal temperature, so whether you have hiked dozens of kilometers from the north or from the south, you will truly appreciate this place. You can also get here by boat from Norðurfjörður.

Of course, shower thoroughly before entering the pool.

There is also a smaller tub with warmer water available. Opening hours are daily from seven in the morning until ten in the evening.

Another point of interest is the nearby rock formation resembling the statues of Easter Island. On closer inspection, however, you will find that it is just a rather interesting optical illusion.
