Nýifoss is a very interesting waterfall that originates directly from Lake Hagavatn. You can find it at the end of the mountain road F335, but it is advisable to leave your car at the Hagavatn campsite and continue on foot, as the road from the campsite requires a truly capable off-road vehicle and good driving skills.
