Möngufoss is truly a beautiful waterfall located right on the cliffs of the western coast of the Strandir area. It is visible from the opposite shore of the fjord, and you can see it from the Litlibær viewpoint, which is a popular spot for seal watching. You can reach Möngufoss on foot from the end of road 635, walking approximately 5 kilometers along the coast. The walk takes about 2 hours each way, and it depends on you how long you decide to stay.
