Small but nice waterfall deep in the woods, what is quite unusual here in Iceland. There is an useful bank where you can enjoy your snack.
How to find Ljósáfoss:
You can find Ljósáfoss approx. 25 kilometers (16 miles) SW from Egilsstaðir. There is tiny parking lot on the road nr. 931 (GPS: 65.084944, -14.776639). From there on just go up the hill into the forest and continue for 900 meters (0.6 miles).
