Parking lot with toilets in the Hallormsstaðaskógur forest

A pleasant parking area in the forest where you can relax during hot Icelandic summer days. Nearby in the forest, there are two waterfalls, Lambafoss and a bit further, Ljósáfoss.

This parking area is located on the southern shore of the Lagafljót river (which looks more like a lake than a river here) and is quite hidden along road no. 931, so just use the GPS coordinates and you can’t miss it.
