Hvammsfoss is a beautiful, tall, yet almost unknown waterfall in the northwestern part of Iceland. It is visible from the road, and you can head towards it through nature to see how far you can get. The walk to the base of the waterfall takes about 10 minutes.
Hvammsfoss is located in the Vatnsdalur valley by road no. 722, and it is only about a 5-minute drive from the main Ring Road 1.
