Camp near the northwest edge of the famous Stuðlagil canyon. It is open from May to October. Available facilities include toilets, showers (for a fee), a dishwashing area, and electricity for tents and caravans (not for electric cars). There is a food stand on site (9 AM–6 PM).
The viewpoint platform above the Stuðlagil canyon is just a few hundred steps down into the valley from here.
