Systrafoss (Sister’s Waterfall) is an intriguing waterfall, where a small river cascades sharply down a hill rather than falling vertically. A reason to stop here might be the opportunity to relax in one of the few wooded areas in Iceland. There is also the option to hike up alongside the waterfall to Systravatn Lake.

Systrafoss is located right in the village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur on the southern coast of Iceland.
