You can find right two campsites in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, this one is the right next to the Stjórnarfoss waterfall. This campsite is definitely not luxurious, just two sinks outside, benches, toilets (with electric plugs) and thats it. On the other side, this is one of the cheapest campsites in Iceland, just 750 ISK/night. There is a supermarket in Kirkjubæjarklaustur, where you can fill in your food supplies before you go East to Jokullsárlón. You can find the other – better equipped – campsite Kirkjubaer II here.
