The campsite is located in a quiet and beautiful area about 20 kilometers south of Egilsstaðir. There is plenty of grassy space and also trees, so it’s not hard to find a nice spot for camping. In addition to spaces for cars and tents, cabins are also available.
There is no kitchen or covered communal area in the campsite; there are only toilets and showers.
The campsite is part of a farm, and you can walk among the horses here. You might even be able to arrange a ride with the owners.
