A beautiful viewpoint at the confluence of the rivers Markarfljót and Fremri-Emstruá. The location is along the Laugavegur trek and is one of those places you have to earn, as it can only be reached on foot. It’s about 5 kilometers from the Botnar campsite, and some parts of the trek can be quite challenging.
