A beautiful spot by the Héðinsfjarðará River, nestled between mountain ranges and two tunnels, is perfect for a pleasant afternoon stop. It is located halfway between the towns of Siglufjörður and Ólafsfjörður. Due to the proximity of Héðinsfjarðarvatn Lake, there are many pesky flies in the summer.
