Skógar campsite
The campsite right beneath one of Iceland’s icons, Skógafoss waterfall, puts you at the center of all the action. If you want at least a chance to experience Skógafoss alone, or almost alone, then this campsite could be a great choice. The downside is that this campsite essentially has no facilities.
It’s located just under the Skógafoss waterfall—you really can’t miss it.
