Kirkja heilags Þorláks

The wooden church was originally built by Slovak Capuchins in Hrivňová, Slovakia, then dismantled, transported to Iceland, and reconstructed here. Masses are held in Polish and Icelandic. The only missing component of the church is the organ, for which there were no funds. Therefore, a guitar is used (for now). The church is located on the northwest edge of the town of Reyðarfjörður (right above the campsite), and it offers quite a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.
